Public Finance in 2020

The public finance in Member States had deteriorated sharply in 2020 as result of dual shock originated by COVID-19 pandemic and lower oil prices. In this context, preliminary data indicate that aggregated fiscal balance of Member States recorded a fiscal deficit of $ 121.0 billion and equal to 12.3 % of aggregated GDP in 2020.
