H.E. Mr. Ayman Mohammed Alsayari

His Excellency Mr. Ayman Mohammed Alsayari, Governor of SAMA, is currently occupying the chairman position in GMCo’s Board of Directors.
 


 
His Excellency Mr. Ayman Alsayari appointed as governor of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) in February 2023, following his position as Vice Governor of SAMA since 2019 and position of Deputy Governor for Investment in SAMA during the period (2013, 2019). During his SAMA career since 1999, he held a number of leadership and administrative positions before occupying his current position.
 
 
He also joined a number of committees in SAMA including investment; monetary policy; and risk & financial stability. In addition, being a board member of the Saudi Fund for Development; the National Debt Management Center; and the Investment Committee of the Public Investment Fund.
 
 
Alsayari gained his master's degree in finance from George Washington University in the US and his bachelor's degree in accounting from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals. He also completed a general management program at Harvard Business School and a number of specialized training programs. He is also a CFA (chartered financial analyst) charter holder.
